Continuing many of the themes from March we will come together Sunday April 26th, 2015 for a CCG Meeting/Workshop! The location will be held in the large mulch-purpose room at the Lexington Public Library's Northside Branch from 1:30 - 4:30pm. Topics will build on the discussion about adapting prose to comics. Creating comics in general, as well as current events. Possible TLD (Themed Life Drawing)! More info as date approaches. All interested folk are welcome.

4/12/15 recap: We had a small but engaged group - good discussion about comics creation learning resources, comics/scriptwriting writing software and how to target your ideas to other creative folks. Especially how writers can get visual artists to join in on a project. Off to a good start - hope to build on this in future meetings.

Did you know Lexington has a local Adobe User's Group? They have monthly meetings and frequently raffle off software/hardware for digital arts enthusiasts.We will have a an informative presentation about DMAG and DMAGazine from the magazine's editor Brittany Thompson.

Our star wars models will strike 15-20 poses as we have a 60-75 minute "out of this world" live drawing session! Bring your sketch gear for a series of fast but intense static poses (5 mins or less!). This is our second go at having
regular themed life drawing sessions available to Lexington artists!
